Frequently asked questions
A train is missing, or its information looks wrong. What can I do?
Not every train has live information all the time. If a specific train keeps looking wrong, email us its number, the date and roughly where it was — we look at every report.
The delay or platform in the app was different from the station. Why?
Information can lag behind reality, especially during disruption. Always treat station announcements and the operator's official information as authoritative. See our Terms of Use.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by the store you bought them in.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or see Apple's guide: Cancel a subscription from Apple. To cancel a free trial without being charged, do so at least 24 hours before it ends. Refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Android: Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or see Cancel a subscription on Google Play. Cancel a free trial before it ends to avoid being charged. Refunds: Google Play refund policies.
How do I delete my data?
Train Radar has no accounts — the only server-side data tied to your device is an anonymous identifier, your followed trains and your subscription status. Deleting the app removes the identifier from your device. To have the server-side records erased too, email support@trainradar.co (ideally from the app's Settings → Support, so the anonymous identifier is included) and we will delete them within one month, as described in the Privacy Policy.
What do I need to run Train Radar?
An iPhone with iOS 18 or later. An Android version is on its way to Google Play (Android 8.0 or later). The version and build number are shown at the bottom of the app's Settings screen.
